Mitski shares two new songs, “Heaven” and “Star”
Mitski recently announced the details of her new album The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We, along with first single “Bug Like an Angel.” It’s out September 15 via Dead Oceans. And today she’s released another pair of songs from the album. Today, she shares “Heaven” and “Star”; the former is a graceful and beautiful country-folk song, while the latter is a haunting ballad that finds her backed by some gothic sounding pipe organ. Hear them both below.
Mitski has also announced a series of live acoustic dates in Europe where she’ll be performing songs from her new album. Check out those dates below.
Mitski’s last album was 2021’s Laurel Hell.
