Norwegian bruisers Hammok are new signees to Sargent House, and they’ve announced a new album, When Does This Place Become Our Scene, which is out June 5. The first single is the blistering post-hardcore anthem, “The Scene,” which carries the kind of heavy sound that puts them in good company alongside labelmates Brutus and The Armed. Hear it below via its video directed by Christoffer Bya, and take a look at the album’s artwork and tracklist as well.

“Everything was sort of a natural response to how good the tour was going, and all the people we had met up to that point,” said vocalist/guitarist Tobias Osland about the song in a statement. “I wanted to capture and directly address the situation we were in – meeting people for the first time who give a shit about their community and the music around them.”
