P.E. share new cover of Stooges’ “I Wanna Be Your Dog”

P.E. are capping a year of excellent music with a new single. After releasing their debut album Person back in March, the New York post-industrial synth-punk group has just shared their new cover of The Stooges’ “I Wanna Be Your Dog.” It’s the A-side of a single that also features a cover of The Ramones’ “I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend” on the B-side, which will be released on October 30 via Wharf Cat.

The band says of the two tracks in a press release, “We dedicate these songs to all those looking for a special cutie(s) in the midst of a global pandemic; we hope you find some sweetness.” Hear P.E.’s take on “I Wanna Be Your Dog” below.
