The Armed release another new song, “SHARP TEETH”

The Armed are less than a month out from the release of their new album, THE FUTURE IS HERE AND EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE DESTROYED, which is out August 1 via Sargent House. And today, they have yet another single to share from the record. The latest is “SHARP TEETH,” which is one of the more melodic songs from the record, following two absolute scorchers. (It, too, is a scorcher, for the record.) Hear it below.

The group said in a statement: “It dares to answer the age-old question “What if I left the ‘Dani California’ music video on in my browser, and then accidentally hit that stupid ass play button thing in the Macbook ribbon and that started Pig Destroyer’s “Towering Flesh” in iTunes so the two were playing simultaneously and then it takes me a sec but I get to the actual music app and turned off Pig Destroyer but then accidentally did the same thing like two more times after that? And also there were dueling guitar solos by Troy Van Leeuwen and Kurt Ballou?” We’ve all been there.”

The Armed’s last album was 2023’s Perfect Saviors. Their 2021 album ULTRAPOP is featured on our list of the 100 Best Albums of the Decade So Far.
