Devil Master announce new album, Bloody Dreams

Heavy metal miscreants Devil Master are returning this year with a new album. On September 4, the group will release Bloody Dreams via Relapse. Today they’ve shared the first single, “You Worms’ Vain Delusions,” which you can hear below.

“The etymology of the word ‘gothic’ is from the Gothic tribes,” said Devil Master’s Darkest Prince in a statement. “They were called barbaric. Eventually, that word settled into cathedrals, which people thought looked horrific. Literature took its name from the architecture [of the day]. So, our psychedelic blend of black metal and punk is defiant. Literally the marriage and definition of the whole history of the etymology of the word ‘gothic,’ of the barbarian punk side up to the spiritual, dark, supernatural, gothic evil.”

Devil Master’s last album was 2022’s Ecstasies of Never Ending Night.
