Wilco have announced a new album. Just a year after Cruel Country, the band returns with Cousin, out September 29 via dBPM. Cate Le Bon produced the album, which marks the first time since 2007’s Sky Blue Sky that a Wilco album hasn’t been self-produced. The first song they’ve released is “Evicted.” Check it out below.

“The amazing thing about Wilco is they can be anything,” Le Bon said in a press release. “They’re so mercurial, and there’s this thread of authenticity that flows through everything they do, whatever the genre, whatever the feel of the record. There aren’t many bands who are able to, this deep into a successful career, successfully change things up.”

Listen to the recent episode of Rock Docs on the Wilco documentary, I Am Trying to Break Your Heart. Cate Le Bon’s last album was 2022’s Pompeii.

Wilco Cousin tracklist:

1. Infinite Surprise
2. Ten Dead
3. Levee
4. Evicted
5. Sunlight Ends
