Belle and Sebastian announce new album, Girls In Peacetime Want to Dance
Next week, Belle and Sebastian will reissue their entire catalog on vinyl, but that’s just a precursor for the more exciting news to come: They’re releasing a new album. On Jan. 20, the Glasgow group will release Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance via Matador Records. It’s their ninth album, and was produced by Ben Allen (Animal Collective). The album follows 2010’s Write About Love, and they’ve shared a little bit of new music via a teaser video, recorded in the studio in Atlanta. You can watch that below.
