Drake, Chvrches, War on Drugs to play Landmark Music Festival
Washington, D.C. will be home to a new festival this fall. On September 26-27, the inaugural Landmark Music Festival will take place at West Potomac Park in Washington, and it’s got a pretty strong lineup for its first showcase.
Headlining the festival are Drake, The Strokes, alt-J and Chvrches. Other artists performing include Chromeo, Band of Horses, The War on Drugs, Wale, The Kills, Twin Shadow, Dr. John and the Nitetrippers, Dan Deacon, The Joy Formidable, Ex Hex, Boots, Hiss Golden Messenger and many others. You can check out the full Landmark Music Festival lineup here.
If that lineup looks appealing but you can’t make the trip out to D.C., the full festival will be streamed online via Yahoo! Screen’s Live Nation channel. The event will support Trust With the National Mall’s Landmark Campaign, which was established in an effort to maintain upkeep of the National Mall and enhance its “beauty, usefulness and sustainability.”
Tickets are on sale now.
