Kamasi Washington announces world tour

Jeff Terich
Kamasi Washington The Epic

Saxophonist Kamasi Washington released the outstanding Brainfeeder-released three-disc The Epic earlier this year, as well as contributing to Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly, and now the jazz musician is bringing his cosmic, soulful sounds to stages across the globe. Washington has tour dates lined up in North America in summer and early autumn, then heads out to Europe in November.

The Epic is on our list of the best albums of 2015 so far.
