Soul II Soul, Kaytranada, Sampha confirmed for Afropunk Brooklyn
Afropunk has announced the lineup for its Brooklyn festival this year, taking place at Commodore Barry Park in Fort Greene, the weekend of August 26-27. It features two special stages curated by Kaytranada and Saint Heron, Solange’s label/brand. The Afropunk Brooklyn 2017 lineup includes trip-hop innovators Soul II Soul, Sampha, Thundercat, Kaytranada, Dizzee Rascal, Gary Clark Jr., Sinkane, Michael Kiwanuka, Macy Gray, SZA, KING, The Cool Kids, Princess Nokia, Willow Smith, Son Little, Kevin Abstract, Blitz the Ambassador, Serpentwithfeet, NAO, Sango, J ROCC, Protoje, Little Simz, Leikeli47, Junior Astronomers, Pure Disgust, Louder Than Quiet, The Skins, QUIN and many others to be announced closer to the festival. The festival’s headliners will be announced in the coming months. The festival also recently announced it has expanded to Johannesburg, South Africa. Details of that festival will be announced in May.
