Sleater-Kinney, Feist, St. Vincent contributing to Planned Parenthood benefit 7-inch series

A long list of high-profile artists are participating in a new benefit compilation for Planned Parenthood, which will be released in the form of a 7-inch box set, as well as in an ongoing series. The series, 7-inches For Planned Parenthood, will feature contributions from Björk, St. Vincent, Sleater-Kinney, Feist, Sharon Van Etten, Chvrches, Mary J. Blige, Foo Fighters, Jon Brion, John Legend, Estelle, Elliott Smith, Mitski, Helado Negro, Matt Berninger of The National, Bryce Dessner of The National, Nico Muhly, Bon Iver, Meg Baird, Black Dice’s Hisham Bharoocha, Common, Laurie Anderson, and comedians including Jenny Slate, Sarah Silverman, Janeane Garofalo, Margaret Cho and Zach Galafinakis. Pre-order information has yet to be released, but proceeds from the sale of the 7-inches and the box set will go toward Planned Parenthood (as the name suggests).
