4AD releasing Cocteau Twins, Scott Walker football jerseys

4AD Records has World Cup fever! A handful of artists on the 4AD Records roster are getting their own football jerseys. Ahead of the World Cup, 4AD has partnered with Fullkitwnkrs for the Complicated Opposition collection, which pairs artists from the 4AD catalog with football merch. Featured jerseys in the collection include one inspired by Cocteau Twins’ Heaven or Las Vegas and one inspired by Scott Walker’s Bish Bosch, along with Colourbox and Air Miami football scarves. Air Miami, it should be noted, released “World Cup Fever” back in 1995.

The collection will be available for pre-order via 4AD’s website and via Bandcamp through June 8. See the jerseys and scarves above and below.

As part of the campaign, 4AD will also be donating to War Child, which supports children affected by war through education, protection, and advocacy to create lasting global change.
