Stream the new Jenny Lewis album, The Voyager
Next week — July 29 to be specific — Jenny Lewis will release The Voyager, her long-awaited follow-up to 2008’s Acid Tongue, via Warner Bros. The album features appearances and production work from Beck and Ryan Adams, and is precisely the kind of album that fans of both Rilo Kiley and Lewis’ solo work should find endearing, or better yet, absolutely irresistible. And we’ve already heard a couple of top-notch tracks from the record so far: first, “Just One of the Guys,” and after that, the stripped-down and dreamy title track.
But the time has come to preview the album in full. This week, NPR First Listen is hosting a stream of the full 10-track album, which is well worth the 40 or so minutes it takes to listen to. In fact, you might have it on repeat for several cycles this week. Just a possibility, here.
