Stream the new Aphex Twin album, SYRO
On Sept. 23 (that’s in two days!), Aphex Twin will release his new album, SYRO — his first in 13 years — via Warp. It’s a highly anticipated affair, which follows a strange saga involving a rare test pressing of an album that yielded a lot of money on an online auction, thus proving how highly in demand Richard D. James still is, even if he hasn’t released anything in a while. Well, we’ve already heard some of the album, in particular the Endless Playlist favorite, “minipops 67 [120.2][source field mix]“. But now, with just 48 hours and some change left before the album is out, the entirety of SYRO is now streaming via Spotify, courtesy of FACT Mag. Listen below, or over at Bleep.
