Stream the new Cymbals Eat Guitars album, LOSE
On Aug. 19, Staten Island indie rockers Cymbals Eat Guitars will release LOSE, their third album, via Barsuk Records. It’s a marked transition away from the more intricate sound of second album Lenses Alien, and into a more abrasive and forceful punk-inspired sound. At the Drive-In and Titus Andronicus are being tossed around as comparisons to LOSE, which certainly captures our attention. Not that you have to trust word-of-mouth alone — you can now stream the full album a week before it’s released, courtesy of NPR First Listen.
