Big Boi, Spiritualized, The Breeders to play Hopscotch festival
For a fourth year, the Hopscotch Festival will take place in Raleigh, N.C. this year, from Sept. 5-7. And as of today, its line-up of 175 bands has been announced.
Headlining the festival are Big Boi, Spiritualized and The Breeders, who will play their album Last Splash in its entirety. Also performing this year are John Cale, Local Natives, Kurt Vile and the Violators, Sleep, Earl Sweatshirt, Low, Future Islands, Matthew Dear, Oblivians, The Rosebuds play Sade’s Love Deluxe (!), Califone, Merzbow, Mikal Cronin, Pere Ubu, Marnie Stern, Pig Destroyer, Pissed Jeans, Matmos, Grouper, Waxahatchee, Wolf Eyes, Mount Moriah play Miracle Temple, Angel Olsen, Purling Hiss, Richard Youngs, Torres, Night Beds, Gorguts, ASG, Lapalux, Charalambides, Evoken and Inter Arma, as well as many, many others.
