Spiritualized, Art Ensemble of Chicago, This Is Not This Heat to play Big Ears Festival

Knoxville, Tennessee’s Big Ears Festival, one of the first major festivals of each year, takes place on March 21-24, 2019. The lineup for the fest has been revealed, and it will feature psych-rock heroes Spiritualized, jazz greats Art Ensemble of Chicago, and bluegrass favorites Punch Brothers. The 2019 Big Ears Festival lineup also features This Is Not This Heat, Meredith Monk, Carla Bley, Richard Thompson, Makaya McCraven (whose new album Universal Beings is definitely a must-hear), Sons of Kemet, Nils Frahm, Rhiannon Giddens, Wadada Leo Smith, Alvin Lucier, Harold Budd, Bill Frisell, Mercury Rev, Evan Parker, Yves Tumor, The Comet Is Coming, Lonnie Holley, Vijay Ayer and Craig Taborn, Rachel Grimes, Moor Mother and more.
