DJ Shadow announces 25th anniversary reissue of Endtroducing

This fall, DJ Shadow‘s Endtroducing turns 25, and to mark the occasion, Shadow will release a deluxe 25th anniversary edition of the album. On September 24, DJ Shadow will release Endtroducing – 25, The Abbey Road Half Speed Master via Island. The album, remastered from DJ Shadow’s original DAT tapes, will be released with a bonus 7-inch featuring Cut Chemist’s remix of “The Number Song.”

“I was so happy to have recently discovered the original DAT tape that served as the final mix source of the album, and was able to provide it for the remaster just in time for this release,” DJ Shadow says in a statement. “When comparing the new version with the old, I was shocked at how many audible details were revealed that I had completely forgotten about.”
