Ekko Astral announce new album, the beltway is burning

Washington, D.C., punk group Ekko Astral has announced a new album. On April 22, they’ll release the beltway is burning via Topshelf. Today they’ve shared the first single, “lil xan goes to washington,” which you can hear below.

The band’s Jael Holzman said in a statement about the album, “We always intended for the songs on this album to tell a fictional story based on real events. Some of this material dates back a decade to when Liam and I first met in college. But by the time we hit the studio, we had a feeling it would be more like a historical document.” 

Ekko Astral recently announced the lineup of their second annual Liberation Weekend.
