On September 13, Floating Points will release new album Cascade, via Ninja Tune. So far, Sam Shepherd has released a handful of singles from the album, including “Key103,” which we recently named an Essential Track. Today, he’s got another one for us, just a few weeks ahead of the release of his new album. Floating Points’ new single is titled “Ocotillo,” which features a collaboration with harpist Miriam Adefris. Hear it below.

Floating Points’ last album was 2021’s Promises, with Pharoah Sanders and the London Symphony Orchestra. It’s featured on our list of the 50 Best Albums of 2021.
