Hear Pelican cover Unwound’s “For Your Entertainment”

Last month, Pelican teamed up with Numero Group to release a cover of Karate’s “Gasoline”. And today, the group has shared another cover from the Numero catalog of reissued ’90s indie classics. They’ve shared their version of “For Your Entertainment” by Pacific Northwest post-hardcore legends Unwound, featuring vocals from Pinebender’s Chris Hansen. Hear it below.

Pelican have also rescheduled tour dates originally planned for spring, with a new date at Levitation added as well. Check out those dates below.

Pelican’s last album was 2019’s Nighttime Stories. They also just reissued their 2005 album, The Fire In Our Throats Will Beckon the Thaw via Thrill Jockey.
