A new, archival set of Hüsker Dü live recordings is being released this summer. Tonite Longhorn, featuring songs recorded live on stage at Minneapolis’ Longhorn Bar in 1979 and 1980, will be released on August 25 digitally via Reflex Records, and its first vinyl pressing will be released on April 22 for Record Store Day. Hear “Do You Remember?” below.

“We created this blistering wall of sound,” said the band’s Bob Mould in a statement, “bright white radio static with occasional melody.”

We recently featured Hüsker Dü’s Zen Arcade as part of our ongoing Treble 100 series.
