Jay Electronica releases new mixtape Act II: The Patents of Nobility

Earlier this year, Jay Electronica released his long-awaited debut album A Written Testimony, which followed his 2007 mixtape Act I: Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge). And now he’s finally released his follow-up to that early mixtape, titled Act II: The Patents of Nobility (The Turn). The release comes about after the mixtape has been circulating via a leak, and it’s now available on TIDAL. It features the same tracklist from 2012, and includes a sample of Serge Gainsbourg’s “Bonnie & Clyde.” For the time being, it’s not available on other streaming services such as Apple Music or Spotify, even though A Written Testimony is.
