Stream the new Janelle Monáe album, Dirty Computer
Janelle Monáe has finally released her long-awaited album, Dirty Computer. It features appearances by The Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson, Pharell Williams and Grimes. Previously, Monáe had shared the singles “Django Jane,” “Make Me Feel,” “I Like That” and “PYNK.” But today, the full album is available to stream via major streaming services. Monáe also premiered her “emotion picture,” Dirty Computer, via BET. The film stars Tessa Thompson (who has appeared in a couple of the album’s videos) as well as Monáe herself, who portrays Jane 57821 in a totalitarian future in which people are referred to as “computers.” A director’s cut will be released on Monáe’s YouTube channel after it’s aired.
