Philadelphia band Strange Ranger have organized a new benefit compilation titled The Song Is Coming From Inside the House. It’s a 24-track collection, available on Bandcamp, that features rare and unreleased material from a variety of underground artists including Mount Eerie, Downtown Boys, Sadie Dupuis of Speedy Ortiz, Palehound, Ratboys, Palehound, Hand Habits, Horse Jumper of Love and more. Proceeds from the sale of the album will be donated to Groundswell Rapid Response Fund, which is an organization that “strengthens U.S. movements for reproductive and social justice by resourcing intersectional grassroots organizing and centering the leadership of women of color – particularly those who are Black, Indigenous, and Transgender.”
Listen to the album below, and download it over at Bandcamp. Strange Ranger also point out via Twitter that Bandcamp is waiving part of their revenue share for the album in perpetuity.
