Neko Case new album 2018

Neko Case has announced a new album. It’s titled Hell-On, and it’s being released on June 1 via Anti-. That’s the album’s artwork below, along with the tracklist. She’s also shared a brief teaser video for the album, which you can watch below, depicting her with a bunch of snakes.

She said the following about the album in a press release: “There were a few challenges during the making of this record from small (scheduling difficulties, and occasional miscommunication) to large (my house burning down while I was overseas.) But none of them are the story of this recording, the songs are the story. They are my best self. They are everything I’ve worked for since I was a kid, whether I knew it or not.”

Case is also touring this spring, take a look at those dates below. Hell-On follows 2013’s The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You, and her 2016 collaboration with Laura Veirs and k.d. lang, case/lang/veirs.

Update: Hear her new track, “Hell-On,” below.
