Oneohtrix Point Never – “Boring Angel”

Daniel Lopatin’s latest album as Oneohtrix Point Never, R Plus Seven, has already been the source of some strangely compelling visual pieces, and itself is something of a fluid work that lends itself to collaborative art. Tying into the themes of technology on the album, the clip for “Boring Angel” is a sequence of shifting emojis, directed by John Michael Boling. It’s stark, minimal, quirky and oddly hypnotic.
