Pallbearer announce new album Foundations of Burden
Little Rock, Arkansas doom metal band Pallbearer became widely acclaimed in 2012 for their outstanding debut album, Sorrow and Extinction, an epic and breathtaking update of classic sounds pioneered by the likes of Black Sabbath and Candlemass. And this summer, they’re returning with a proper follow-up to that incredible first set. On Aug. 19, the band will release Foundations of Burden, via Profound Lore. It has six tracks, which means it’s probably comparably massive to its predecessor. Check out the tracklist below, and artwork above. Also, the band is touring this month with Deafheaven and hitting up some festivals. Tour dates below.
