Pavement announce new best-of compilation, Hecklers Choice
Pavement has announced a new compilation, titled Hecklers Choice: Big Gums and Heavy Lifters, which will be released on CD and LP on Nov. 14 via Matador. The compilation arrives after the release of the film Pavements, as well as the band’s sold out reunion tours and unexpected viral success of b-side “Harness Your Hopes.” Check out the tracklist below.
Pavement released another best-of compilation, Quarantine the Past back in 2010, which Matador acknowledges in a press release: “Back when Quarantine the Past came out in 2010, TikTok wasn’t a thing. This newly revamped track-list accounts for any/all viral sensations that have emerged hence (“Harness Your Hopes”) while continuing to rep the timeworn tunes that have remained playlist and mixtape staples for in-the-know-types across generations.”
