Quasi announce new album, Breaking the Balls of History
Quasi have announced a new album. On February 10, the duo will release Breaking the Balls of History via Sub Pop. It’ll be their first new album in a decade, and today, they’ve shared “Queen of Ears.” Hear it below.
The album comes after drummer Janet Weiss’ recent recovery from a car accident, followed by the global pandemic, which sparked a realization between her and bandmate Sam Coomes that there’s no better time than the present to make new music. “There’s no investing in the future anymore,” Weiss said in a press release. “The future is now. Do it now if you want to do it. Don’t put it off. All those things you only realize when it’s almost too late. It could be gone in a second.”
