Hear Royal Thunder’s first new song in five years, “The Knife”

Royal Thunder have returned with their first new single in five years. Today, the group shares “The Knife,” via Spinefarm, which is a bluesier and more melancholy song than some of the more doom-heavy sounds they’ve delivered in the past. Check it out below, via its new video. They’ve also announced a handful of live dates for January. See those below as well.

Singer Mlny Parsonz said in a press release, “Coming out full throttle has filled my heart to the brim. Actually, I am exploding with joy! To feel like an outlet (music) was being ripped away from my existence, and finding myself here and now, holding it like a new born baby, brings me a sense of freedom and hope that I haven’t felt in years. To everyone, especially Josh and Evan, that has been there on this journey — thank you! Thank you for making this real again.”

Royal Thunder’s last album was 2017’s Wick.
