Satomimagae announces new album Taba

Satomimagae has announced a new album. On April 25, she’ll release Taba via RVNG Intl. The first single is “Many,” which you can check out below via its video from the ON-EI [音映] creative collective, who said in a statement, “This video is a slideshow. We hope that it will help viewers to think of the scenery inside their heart, as well as the scenery they have yet to see.” 

“I was thinking about how we see people as a group and individuals within a group,” Satomi said about the album in a press release. “How groups are connected and also how borders exist. The awareness that we are just one element in the collective (taba) and yet each individual’s invisible experiences and memories remain somewhere, influencing us, or society, without realizing it. We are small dots within a mass.” 

Taba follows 2021’s Hanazono.
