Spoon reveal They Want My Soul details
Last week, Spoon announced that they were releasing a new album this year, titled They Want My Soul. And today, the Austin band has revealed the full details of their follow-up to Transference. The album is out Aug. 5 via Loma Vista, and yesterday, they unveiled the first song, “Rent I Pay,” via a live recording on NPR. Today, the studio version of that track is now available to stream via Spotify. That image above is the album cover, which is oddly reminiscent of 2002’s Kill the Moonlight.
