The Smile announce their second album of 2024, Cutouts

The Smile have announced their second album of 2024. On a roll after the release of January’s Wall of Eyes, the band—comprising Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood and ex-Sons of Kemet drummer Tom Skinner—have announced Cutouts. It’s out October 4 via XL, and today they’ve released two new singles, “Foreign Spies” and “Zero Sum,” which you can hear below. The band also previously released two tracks from the album as a 12-inch single, “Don’t Get Me Started” and “The Slip.” See the album’s tracklist below.

The Smile’s Wall of Eyes is featured on our list of the Best Albums of 2024 So Far. It follows 2022’s A Light for Attracting Attention.
