Vince Staples announces new album Cry Baby

Vince Staples has announced a new album. On June 5 he’ll release Cry Baby via Loma Vista. The first single is “Blackberry Marmalade.” Hear it below, and watch the video over at YouTube.

As Staples said via social media, “YouTube has age-restricted the Blackberry Marmalade video, so if you are over the age of 18, make sure to share it with the youth around you. Our children deserve the truth.”

He also said in a statement about Cry Baby, “As the world burns, I have decided to release this album.”

Vince Staples’ Summertime 06 and Big Fish Theory are both featured on our list of Our 100 Favorite Hip-Hop Albums of the 21st Century.
