Decibel Magazine has a sterling reputation in the heavy music community for being a bastion of taste and authority in metal, or “extreme music,” as they’re also proponents of non-metal acts like Swans. But they’ve also had a pretty good record of booking great shows, which almost always bring together some kick-ass extreme bands of different stripes. And the 2015 Decibel tour is no exception. The three-week tour is being headlined by Swedish death metal legends At the Gates and Salem hardcore heroes Converge, as well as death metal supergroup Vallenfyre. Sounds like this one’s going to go to eleven!
