Converge announce second album of 2026, Hum of Hurt

Converge have announced their second album of 2026. After releasing Love Is Not Enough in February, the band have announced Hum of Hurt, out June 5 via Deathwish/Epitaph. Today they’ve shared a video for the title track, which you can check out below.

The title is a reference to a phenomenon heard in various parts of the world that registers between 30 and 40 hertz, but which has no explainable origin. Jacob Bannon said in a statement, “What if ‘The Hum’ is the culmination of all the pain in the world, creating an audible signal across the universe? Something noticeable to others operating on a similar emotional plane.”
