Converge released new album Love Is Not Enough at the beginning of the year, and they quickly followed that up with the announcement of another new album, Hum of Hurt, which is out June 5 via Epitaph. The band shared the title track back in April, and today they offer up another new single, “Doom in Bloom,” which like its predecessor seems to suggest that this album finds the band in noise rock mode. Hear it below.

“It’s dark and pointed right at you,” said vocalist Jacob Bannon in a statement. “Lyrically, I’m exploring how my own middle-aged introspection doesn’t always bring a brighter light. I see my own trappings reflected in those around me. Here I am imploring them to slip the noose to see another day.”
