And today, the festival has announced the first round of bands that will be performing on its stages this year. Topping the Pop Montreal 2015 lineup are disco pioneer Giorgio Moroder, reunited alt-rock outfit Babes in Toyland, indie rock heroes Built to Spill and industrial metal titans Godflesh. Also performing this year are Stars of the Lid, Ought, Cannibal Ox, Murder by Death, Will Butler, The Cribs, Mikal Cronin, Prurient, Coeur de Pirate, Jib Kidder, Jerusalem in My Heart, Pathway to Paris with Thurston Moore, and many others. More acts will be announced in the coming months.
