Windhand announce new album, Grief’s Infernal Flower
Windhand is returning with a full-length set of doom this fall. Singer Dorthia Cotrell took a brief break to release her own debut solo album this spring, but on Sept. 25, the Richmond, Virginia doom metal outfit will release their second album, Grief’s Infernal Flower, via Relapse. That’s the album’s artwork above, designed by Arik Roper. The album was produced by Jack Endino (Mudhoney, High on Fire) and is described in a press release as a massive, heavy, personal and modern testament to the power of doom and stoner metal’s legacies.” Sold!
