Baroness reveal short behind-the-scenes film, “Ultraviolet”
On December 18, Baroness will release their new album Purple, which is the band’s fourth album and first since enduring a bus crash in 2012 that almost ended their career. The band has been back in business since 2013, however, touring and recording, and before their new album drops, they’ve released a short behind-the-scenes documentary of the making of their new album. The clip is called “Ultraviolet” and features an interview with frontman John Baizley, mixed with footage from the studio during the recording sessions of Purple. Baizley talks about the bus crash, the physical limitations that it put on the band, and overcoming those obstacles and finding a new sense of purpose. Watch it below, and take a look at the band’s updated tour dates.
Purple follows 2012’s Yellow and Green.
