The Avalanches announce tour dates

The Avalanches are returning this summer. This week, the Australian group updated their social media accounts—including launching a brand new Instagram—as well as their website, all of which feature the same image of a gold butterfly on black fabric. Today it seems that they were building up to something: Summer tour dates. The group’s last live performances were in 2007, and their last DJ sets were in 2011, so these live shows come after almost nine years of inactivity on that front.

In the meantime, we’re still waiting to see when that long-awaited follow-up to 2000’s Since I Left You will arrive.
