Brian Eno and My Bloody Valentine’s Kevin Shields release “Only Once Away My Son”
Brian Eno and My Bloody Valentine’s Kevin Shields have just released a new collaboration. The track is titled “Only Once Away My Son” and has been released via Adult Swim’s Singles program. The track is a pretty lengthy one at nine minutes—though not nearly as long as Moor Mother’s three-hour sound installation that was also recently released via Adult Swim. This is the first new music from Shields since My Bloody Valentine’s 2013 album mbv. Brian Eno released the new album Reflection earlier this year. Shields’ bio for Sigur Rós’ upcoming festival in Iceland states that he’s working on material for a new My Bloody Valentine album to be released in 2018.
