Ought announce new album, Room Inside the World

Canadian indie rock outfit Ought have announced a new album. On February 16, the band will release Room Inside the World via Merge Records. The album was produced by Nicolas Vernhes, who has worked with Animal Collective and Deerhunter. The band also incorporates a wider palette of sounds on this album, according to a press release, including vibraphone, synthesizers and a 70-piece choir. The first single is titled “These 3 Things,” which you can check out below via its video, which was directed by Jonny Look (Grizzly Bear, Cloud Nothings). The band also has a long list of tour dates on the horizon, which are listed below.

Room Inside the World follows 2015’s Sun Coming Down.
