Worm announce new album NECROPALACE

Death doom metal group Worm have announced a new album. On February 13, the band will release NECROPALACE via Century Media. The album was produced by Charlie Koryn (Morbid Angel) and mixed / mastered by Arthur Rizk (Blood Incantation, Sumerlands). The closing track, “Witchmoon: The Infernal Masquerade,” features guitar from heavy metal legend Marty Friedman. Today, the band have shared a short film for the title track. Watch it below.
Vocalist Phantom Slaughter said in a statement, “Welcome to the domain of dread known as NECROPALACE. This fortress has kept my memories and nightmares for centuries. Risen from ancient slumber, the curse is once again free to haunt starlit nights. While approaching the icy gates of Castle Ravenblood, a swirling mist begins to form. Phantom figures surround you. Enter if you dare but be warned, the darkness may consume your mortal soul forever. The ultimate evil has returned…”
Worm’s last full-length album was 2021’s Foreverglade. The band’s split with Dream Unending, Starpath, is featured on our list of the Best Metal Albums of 2023.
