Horse Lords announce new album, Demand to Be Taken to Heaven Alive!

Horse Lords have announced a new album. On June 2, the eclectic experimental rock group will release Demand to Be Taken to Heaven Alive! via RVNG Intl. Today they’ve released two new songs, “Eureka 378-B” and “Brain of the Firm.” Hear them both below.

Demand to Be Taken to Heaven Alive! is the first Horse Lords album to feature vocals, which are provided by Nina Guo and Evelyn Saylor. The album also features bass clarinetist Madison Greenstone and trombonist Weston Olencki.

The band said of the new album, “we like the idea of art as a tool for changing your perspective, being able to rotate ideas and see/hear/feel them from a different vantage point.”

Horse Lords’ last album was 2022’s Comradely Objects, which is featured on our list of the 50 Best Albums of 2022.
