Aseethe have announced a new album. On June 21, the sludge/doom metal group will release The Cost via Thrill Jockey. The group recorded the album at Chicago’s Electrical Audio with Sanford Parker, and today they’ve shared a new song, “Last Time I Do Anything For a Fucking Friend Ever”, which you can check out below.

Bassist/vocalist Noah Koester said in a statement, “The title was actually from a fun time doing a show in tribute to our friend John Hopkins and was said in jest. However, as time went on, a lot of people, in my life at least, ended up being not so awesome. To be looking out for those people while not setting your own boundaries does more harm to you than them.”
