boygenius to release demos on Bandcamp for 24 hours

Tomorrow is another Bandcamp Friday, during which artists will keep all of their earnings from sales via Bandcamp during a 24-hour period. And tomorrow, for one day only, indie folk trio boygenius (Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus) will release a set of demos of songs from their 2018 debut EP, with proceeds going to benefit different charities chosen by the band’s members. The demos include “Me & My Dog” (which was one of our favorite tracks of the past decade), “Stay Down” and “Bite the Hand.” Julien Baker will donate her portion of sales to OUTMemphis, Phoebe Bridgers to Downtown Women’s Center, and Lucy Dacus to Mutual Aid Disaster Relief Richmond.
