Can announce new live album, Live in Cuxhaven 1976

Can have announced the next title in their ongoing archival live albums series. On October 18, they’ll release Live in Cuxhaven 1976 via Spoon/Mute. The new live album follows the two released in 2021, Live in Stuttgart 1975 and Live in Brighton 1975 (which were among our favorite reissues of 2021). They’ve shared a new clip of one of the extended live tracks from this performance. Hear it below and check out the album’s tracklist as well.

The liner notes for this latest installment were written by French author Paul Bussy, who says in a press release, “Until the end, Can gigs were not only logical extensions of their studio work, they were definitely a work in itself. And we are so fortunate to still have a lot to discover.”
