Castevet announces new album, Obsian
If you’re anything like us — and we’re not saying that’s a high probability — you’ve been waiting for a long time to hear a follow-up to Castevet’s 2010 album Mounds of Ash. On that record, the New York band combined the raw, intense power of black metal with the abrasive riffs of post-hardcore, and it’s pretty much one of the coolest metal albums of the ’00s.
Now, Castevet has finally released that follow-up. It’s called Obsian, and it’s out Oct. 15 via Profound Lore. That’s the artwork above.
And that’s all we got for now. More details will be posted as they trickle our way.
